7th Birthday Party
This birthday seems to have snuck on me and I'm in full panic mode trying to get her party together!
I have 4 weeks and a day to plan and execute the perfect party! Last year I started planning in November, so I"m not sure what the hell I'm thinking!
After thinking about it for a few days I have, I mean we have decided to have a spa party! I think that this will be perfect for her and her friends.
I was thinking of pink as one of the colors as I have two girls and pink is always the fallback, but I decided to go out of my comfort zone and pick another color, so I decided, I mean we decided on sunshine yellow and aqua! Let's not kid ourselves here I'm the one that is on the ball for this party! Baby blue was on the mind, but I found so many cool decor items in aqua that I thought that would be a great accent color to the sunshine yellow!
So after spending countless hours on the internet, I'm not sure what we did without it, and researching lot's of other spa party ideas, I think that I'm set! My only issue, which I'm sure that I'll encounter many, is the guest list! I have way too many girls to invite! I'm trying to not think about it and hope once the invites go out I'll have a few no's althought I need to know early enough so that I can order a few key items early enough so that they arrive on time!
My planning stages thus far
Colors - sunshine yellow and aqua blue
Theme- spa
Spa staff - booked!
Invites - layout planned just waiting to add one element in order to send them out
Printables - 3 completed of many (which I feel really good about)
Food- still working it out
Cake- not even on the top of my mind!
Layout - well we are having an unbelieveable warm winter/spring, so I'm hoping to be able to host my first birthday party outside!
The layout will include a food, craft, dessert, drink, and welcome package station
There's 4 weeks and 1 day to go, so wish me luck!
Oh did I mention that my youngest birthday is May 21 and she is expecting something fantstical!

I bit the bullet!
Picture taken with my new Canon T3i
I have been drooling over the Canon Rebel T3i for a while now! The reviews have been fantastic and the pictures look amazing!
Well being an online seller, my pictures were always sucky! (I'm not sure that's a word, but it's the best one to describe my pictures!)
I started on my Project Life and as I was printing off my pictures the quality was terrible! The pictures are too dark and some are not in proper focus.
This lead me to Best Buy online! They were running a great sale on their Canon camera kits and I bit the bullet and ordered one! It took 2 days to arrive which was amazing!
I bought the
EOS Rebel T3i with 18-55mm
Canon Speedlite 320EX Flash
EFS 55-250 lens
It all came as a bundle! I'm not sure how to use any of this stuff and thankfully I do not have to run around today, so I was able to set up the camera and take a picture or two.
I'm in love!
It was expensive, but I think that my business and kids are worth it.
I'm already thinking that the macro lens, a carrying case and a remote controller are in my future!
I hope to be able to bring better quality pictures to my business as well as my life!
Happy Shopping!
