End of Summer?

Well it's not quite the end of summer but the kiddies will be going back to school soon and it feels like this is the last hurrah!

My family and I decided to get away for a while and enjoy the last days August before our daughter has to go to school.  She's only going half days 3 days a week but it feels like I'm shipping her off forever.

This is a picture I captured of her mid twirling, she likes to do that a lot!  I'm looking forward to spending the next 9 days with her, her sister and my wonderful husband.

EtsyGreetings New Blog

I am a proud member of EtsyGreetings and truly enjoy being apart of this helpful community which strides to continually promote Etsy artisans.

I have partnered with fellow member Kristen of FiveDotDesign to help with the "articles" feature of the blog.  This section will be have articles written by members twice a week.

I am also heading up the monthly challenges starting September 1.

Traffic

I'm not talking about the slow moving, paralyzing, rush hour, want to shoot yourself in the head to stop the torture traffic, I mean the positive internet traffic that everyone so desperately wants in order to bring potential customers to your shop or blog.

Halloween Creations

Well it's hard to believe that I'm already starting to stock my store with Halloween goodies!

It's shocking how early you need to start in order to catch the rush.

Well I must say that I'm already thinking of the Christmas holidays and starting to create new and exciting products.

While I was out of commission, I was seriously starting to think about folding my beloved company.  I was tired, with so much going on in my life I was worn out.   However one day I made a sale out of the blue and I was instantly reminded of why I do this!

I'm Back

We'll I'm back, and I must say it feels pretty good!

A lot has happened in my life since my last post:

• We've had some illness in the family which has been on-going throughout the year
• We've been trying to decorate or re-decorate, depends on who you talk to, the house
• I've been restocking my etsy store, a big thanks to my loyal customers
• Updating my website so that it's bigger and better has proven to be quite time consuming, but I hope to have this completed within the near future
• We've had a baby!!!  We had a precious little girl back in May and I'm tired.

Well like I said I'm back and I want to start August off with a great promotion.
